Imagine, your all packed and ready to move and the movers show up almost 3 hrs late and starts complaining about the how the furniture has to go out of the house down stairs through the basement. Then he (Russ) decides they will take the furniture out through the back porch and started to shovel the porch steps as it snowed the day before but we were told by Pat (the owner) just to make sure the driveway was plowed which my snow plow man agreed to come early to take care of it for me and it was done. Nothing else was mentioned about shoveling except the front sidewalk which I do not have. Russ gets in the truck backs up to the house, hits my retaining wall, bends his bumper and damages my wall. After making a call to his office about the bumper, he sends one of his helpers up to ask my brother in law to move his car so he can pull up and straighten out his bumper. He starts to leave saying "I'm leaving, you have to call Pat." He left me high and dry and unable to move with just a few days left until my closing and new owners moving in. About 3 weeks before Joe came over to do a walk through and give an estimate and sign a contract at which time nothing was said about a problem moving the furniture through the basement after I showed him they can move furniture through the basement door or garage. The owner (Pat) called me after the moving crew called him, probably about the bumper, offering to reschedule the move to the day of the closing. My closing was at 8:30am and I had to be out before that day. I feel because Russ stated he would get to his destination too late that day, the furniture moving through the basement was just an excuse. If they were not 3 hours late there would have had plenty of time. Unacceptable, very unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone.
Very unprofessional. I placed order for mattresses and they were the 3rd party vendor who delivered them. The order clearly stated delivery and pick up. They failed to remove old mattresses and after being notified NEVER attempted to rectify the problem after several calls. Then they lied to cover their tracks and reported that my mattress was "dirty" and other false descriptions. Well, the plastic was still wrapped around the box Springs and the top mattress only had dirt on the side from moving...And to think I left a nice tip for them because I wouldn't be home when they delivered...I hope this is not a common "shotty" business practice and just an isolated incident...
Cadden Brothers is a moving company but they also do deliveries for customers who purchased large items online. They called to advise they had a delivery of a purchase I made from Wayfair. From that phone call up to delivery, the experience was perfect. Customer service is impeccable. Delivery team was polite and respectful of my home. If I ever decide to move, I'll use Cadden Brothers.

Last winter I needed to locate a good moving company for a local move. I had a LOT of memorabilia and furniture from my parents' home, and I knew the packing would be difficult as I was working full-time. I was overwhelmed. Fortunately a coworker who had recently used Cadden Bros. suggested I call them, and this turned out to be excellent advice. They did a great job.
