My granddaughters have been going here since infancy. I had used one other center for a brief moment and it was a nightmare.
at first is was great, they made is sound as if it was a caring place,. one day my 6 month old son had a rash that was unexplainable,- other than sat in a dirty diaper all day. he could not even get his bath it hurt so badly. This lasted about a week. I pulled him out of this place that day. The manager Angie never returned a phone call or even cared to call with any concern. I called and left several messages in moths, no return calls!
Manners, words, language skills, arts and crafts. Playground. A home away when a career is a parents life... Because the children are still the important ones.
My daughter went here from the time she was a year to the time she was 4. At first it was fantastic, she loved it. Until she started crying every day I would drop her off. I figured at first it was just her not wanting to go to daycare and wanted to stay home. The one day I brought her in and she had a stuffed small puppy with her that she liked to sleep with during nap time. She immedietly ran down the hall to the back room crying so hard she couldn't catch her breath. It was then I learned from her two teachers that the admin Amanda was being extremely rude to her. I immedietly pulled her from Here We Grow to a different daycare. To this day she still talks about how Miss Amanda was rude to her and would be mean to her. Please do research before enrolling your children.
This is a very structured, well disciplined routine for children that are going to be growing up in the daycare environment... From infant to prek when school starts next year I can know with confidence she is prepared completely. Even sings the pledge of allegiance.
